This was a very good episode even if it made me feel like crap after watching it.
Okay let's start with the good stuff.
I was really excited about Meg coming back. I really wanted to see what the dynamic with Cas would be like in light of things that happened previously (ex: the pizza man and the back end of season 7). I really enjoyed their chemistry and I must admit the fangirl in me ships Megstiel.
I'm glad that Dean was finally starting to find out about Sam struggling with the trials. What Cas said about Sam's health makes me wonder what state he will be in by the season finale. I'm also anxious to see what the next trial will be since the end of the season is coming up in only a matter of weeks. Speaking of the trials, I have come up with a theory:
Kevin Tran may not survive this story line. I mean, I'm not saying it's a done deal, but I've been thinking that it's a road we have a slight chance of going down. When you think about it, the show is set to go on for two more seasons at least. The writers rarely keep an arch going for more than a season and if the boys close the gates of hell, we just lost some major antagonists. There has to be a reason that they are unable to complete this task and if Kevin dies, they won't be able to close the gates. I don't know it seems like a small possibility but a possibility none the less.
I enjoyed many of the comedic beats as well as the scene between Cas and Meg that sort of brings everything full circle. I had a feeling that Meg would not survive but it didn't make it any less tragic in my eyes. Sure, she killed Ellen and Jo, but I think she redeemed herself a little with helping the boys. I just love (dripping with sarcasm) the fact that people can talk about how they hate Meg because she is evil and they don't see how people love her just because she is witty when they talk about how Satan and Crowley are their favorite characters. That actually just blows my mind. The arch for Meg was very well written, the fact that she was starting to turn good a little bit and a lot of it was for Cas. I think it was like a yin yang thing when you think about it, like them meeting in the middle. The way she died kind of pissed me off. I mean she is the only women-scratch that-the only character at all to make it all eight seasons and all she gets from her death is a short pan away? Come on. But for any Meg lovers there is hope. I'm pretty sure that when demons die they go to Purgatory so there could be a slight chance of Cas saving her. Speaking of Cas, I'm excited to see what his reaction will be to her death whether it be anger or sadness. I will say that her death was an honorable one. She died for a cause and she didn't care that they were going to close the gates of hell as long as Crowley was killed. She also died protecting Castiel which was how Rachel Miner (the actress who plays Meg) wanted her to die.
I was so happy (fist bump to the sky happy) that Castiel broke Naomi's hold. It was a very close parallel to the season 5 finale with Sam/Lucifer. I think that was done to tie into the fact that Cas has know Dean and Sam for years and he has become like a brother to them, to Dean especially. I love the fact that Dean says, "we need you. I need you" because I think it shows that Dean may seem strong but he isn't nearly as strong as he lets on or as he used to be. It's obvious that he probably wouldn't take it well if he lost someone else he cared about or if he was betrayed by someone he cared about.
So I'm pretty curious about what is going on between Naomi and Crowley. Apparently they had a thing and they could be partially working together. I knew from the start that Naomi wasn't good.
So next week's episode, Krissy is coming back. I actually really liked her as a character and I liked her and Dean's dynamic. The fact that they named the episode after a show that I really enjoyed made me pretty happy.
I have to say it :R.I.P. Meg Masters.
If you want, you can post your comments and thoughts about the episode. Happy Sunday.

I want to take a quick minute to give another birthday shout out to the adorable Padamoose, Thomas Colton Padalecki! This has to be one of the most adorable babies I've ever seen. I have faith that he will grow into a fine person and if he is anything like his father, I suspect the world may get a little brighter. Happy Birthday Thomas!

Hat's Off For Cancer
Okay, so for this week's special topic I am kind of staying with in the Supernatural realm. I wanted to promote a really good charity called Hat's Off For Cancer. It's an organization that supports children and teens who have previously battled or are currently battling cancer. Jensen and Danneel Ackles have created a donation site called Baby Ackles Gift, in which Jensen states his hopes of fans donating to this organization in place of baby gifts for their new addition. The goal is to raise $50,000 and so far, they are a quarter of the way there. Now, you don't have to donate if you don't want to, but please spread the word about this to friends, family, or other fans of Jensen. Just $10 can go a long way. These children deserve a second chance and this charity is their chance.

Happy Pi(e) Day!
So today is a special day because it's probably Dean Winchester's favorite day. It's Pi(e) Day everyone! I'm celebrating this day because Dean Winchester hasn't had a piece of pie in years because Sam always seems to forget it.
Sam will finally remember to get pie their pie last day alive. You'll know it's all about to end when Sam finally says, "Dean, I remembered the pie" and then we'll all simultaneously burst into tears. But for now, let's celebrate this Day of Pi(e) in honor of Dean Winchester.

Happy Birthday, Jensen Ackles!!!!!
35 years ago today, a beautiful man was brought into this world. What a wondrous day it was. Today, the same bow-legged green-eyed freckled Texan has stolen our hearts in every role he has taken on. He is not just a piece of glorious art work to stare at however, no my friends. He has shown time and time again his capability of stealing a scene with his top notch acting skills. He displayed genuine kindness towards his fans and his humanitarian side with charitable causes. Most of all, he has warmed our hearts with his brotherly bond with co-star/best friend Jared. I am extremely happy for him and his family for their upcoming addition. So on this day, let's give it up for our favorite smart-alec, Jensen Ackles!
To This Day Project - Shane Koyczan
I've decided in accompaniment to talking about Supernatural, I will also be raising awareness to some causes that are important to me. My topic right now is bullying. This is a powerful poem by Shane Koyczan about how bullying affects children and teens into adulthood. Whether it is verbal or physical abuse, it still leaves scars. The poem is titled "To This Day".

Something A Little Different This Time-Bullying Intro
Bullying has become a serious epidemic in schools all across the
United States. Sadly, one of the most popular new fads is self harm,
which is directly linked to bullying. Bullying doesn't happen at a
specific age, to specific people or in a specific place in the world: it
happens everywhere to everyone. It isn't just kids and teens, either:
adults do it to each other, and even parents to their children, making
those children future bullies. Bullying is a vicious, never-ending
cycle, and will continue unless something is done.
