I greatly enjoyed this episode. Greatly.
Firstly, Prometheus looks quite familiar, so if someone knows what else that actor played in, let me know.
Sometimes by the middle of the episode, you can tell exactly which characters are gonna bite it:; I knew Shane/Prometheus was gonna bite it. Anyone who goes out of their way to save their family is gonna die in the end, That's how the show works. I am really glad they are including Greek mythology in the show. That is what I love about Supernatural. Because the name "Supernatural" is so broad and vague, you can literally do anything you want with the show and they have. That is why this show is so successful: It has great actors, great character relationships, and they have a lot of room to explore different plot-lines. I just love this show you guys.
I'm starting to realize that Disney is like the only place where Zeus isn't a complete Douchebag (yeah, that's right capital D). So I'm gonna take a guess and say that he wasn't that great of a God in real mythology. I like that Dean and Sam got to meet the Hunter Goddess, Artemis since they are hunters. I only wish they could have like had the time to sit down and talk with her about hunting things, the family business. I feel like it would have been an interesting convo. The child was an interesting twist. It really added to the desperation of getting the curse lifted. But seriously: How high was the boy swinging to fall and die? And what the butt was the mom doing, checking her email? I mean I know it was inevitable but come on!
I really miss the fights where Sam and Dean actually kick ass and win. It seems like lately all they do is get slammed into walls while the guest star saves the day. I feel like since Purgatory, Dean should have honed in more on his hunting skills. I know they showed a more brutal side in the beginning, but it's starting to fade out. I really wanna see the boys just get down and fight and win like the good ol' days.
I completely understand why Sam is hiding his pain from Dean. He assured Dean that he could do the trials and if he tells Dean what is happening, it will display how vulnerable he is. He doesn't want to have Dean step in and hold his hand like he did when they were kids or in season 1, which is understandable. I will give the writers props for not making Dean completely clueless to the fact that Sam is in pain. I'm glad they gave him more credit than that. His speech at the end was very touching and the "watch out for my little brother" thing really made me happy/sad. Because Sam hasn't been Dean's little brother since season 3 when you think about it.
Okay, onto why I'm pissed the eff off. THERE IS ANOTHER MONTH-LONG HIATUS. I mean I knew it was coming but I'm still upset. How many breaks do you really need, Supernatural? Huh? Why don't you just tell us before the season starts when the breaks are gonna be? Why do you need another break, you already had a friggin mid-season finale? What do you want? They just reveal that Meg, the demon I recently was yelling about is blonde and coming back and then I have to wait a friggin month before I can see it? Meg, Cas, and Crowley? I'm so glad she isn't dead, and if they kill her I will be so pissed that there won't be a measure to it. I will also be pissed if Cas isn't darn thrilled to see her because they were hella cute season 7 and he better not pretend that he was all loony for her. I ain't gonna lie: I ship it. I don't even hold a grudge against her anymore for ripping my heart out when she killed Ellen and Jo, that's how much I like Megstiel. I know, it's sad but I'm not ashamed (I'm kind of ashamed. No. No I'm not).
So I'm excited for next.....*sigh**grumble*month. I really wanna see what Cas has been doing this whole time. Also excited about Jensen's baby being a girl and about Cas being a regular and Misha directing. But I am super duper cotton candy excited about the Supernatural Harlem Shake video that Jared was talking about. We don't even have to wait for the gag reel to see it! Alright I'm gonna stop *poker face*. Good Day to you all.

8.14 "Trial and Error"
This was a great episode you guys. The dialogue really stole the show.
I first want to point out how I love that Dean was so enthusiastic about having his own room and his own home. The "hey, mom" kinda killed me a bit I have to say. I love that Dean can cook and it was so good that Sam actually brought it to-go.
Kevin. Poor, poor baby Kevin Tran. He is literally working himself to death, like for real. He seriously needs to like hibernate for a month because damn... he looks like dead ass. I was getting kinda nervous because Dean is asking him to keep working and Sam is telling him to take a break. I was thinking that maybe he was gonna OD.
One thing that is pissing me off is that a lot of Destiel shippers are blowing everything Dean does out of proportion. The fact that he turned down that girl does not make him gay, he's trying to save the effing world. Was that hard to understand for some people? Not even Dean would chose sex over the fate of humanity. And he obviously said that he would have had sex with her if he could. But then they say, "but he didn't tell her why so that means he wanted to say he was taken by Cas-," No, it means that if he told her he was trying to close the gates of hell, then she would think he was crazy. I don't have a problem with the idea that Dean could be gay because I have no problem with gay people. But Dean is obviously not gay. Dean is not a real person so he doesn't actually control his decisions, the writers do and they would say if they are going down that road or not and it's obvious they're not at least to me.
Okay, just had to get that off my chest.
Dean's speech really touched me. Like... that was deep. He wants Sam to live to have a wife and kids. What was really great about that is the fact that it shows that they are finally back to normal. I think that was the most heartbreaking brother bonding scene since the "remember what Dad taught you" scene and that one made me lose it. You could tell it really broke Sam's heart to hear it as well. That totally puts a new possibility on the table for the series ending. If one of the brothers has to live it should be Sam. Dean has been protecting Sam all his life and even if Sam says he wants to do the same, its not the same thing. It will never be the same thing because Dean is his big brother and he will always fight harder to sacrifice himself. Sam's speech was really touching too. It was more hopeful. I love that no matter what, Sam always has some kind of hope, like he still has that innocence from season 1 when Dean lost his a long time ago.
But back to the series ending. I think that either Dean dies or they both die. I am more for them dying together in a blaze of glory. I don't think that this story should have a happy ending. As sad as it is, it wouldn't be realistic for them to live through all of this and just be happy and old together. Let's face it: we as fans of Sam and Dean would be happy for a little while with that ending, but we would know that it isn't really good television to end it like that if we have seen the show and know all the plots. It just doesn't make any sense. The idea of Sam living to have a family and tell stories of how great his brother was is an ending that can be believable, but I can't really see any scenario where Dean lives. As much as I would be happy to see him find someone and start a family, I know it probably won't happen and I know that I wouldn't be able to believe it. I know I wasn't satisfied with the ending of season 5 as beautiful as it was and even though you could see Sam come back at the end.
Whew! I just depressed myself a little bit. Happy thought: I hear this season's gag reel is going to be a long one!
But seriously, tell me how you think the show should end. I really want to hear more opinions on this. So comment below and follow if you'd like.

8.13 "Everybody Hates Hitler"
Great episode all around. It had some awesome comedic beats and it was balanced well with serious moments and Sam/Dean brotherly love.
Now the details:
I loved the continuity on the Men of Letters or MoL. I love the fact that it wasn't just a one episode deal, it really gave me some relief. I hate it when shows have one thing happen in one episode but it is different in the next and it makes me feel like I have been imagining things. I also love that they mentioned Cas. I don't really like it when Cas isn't in the episode so it's like he doesn't exist, same with Garth (cuz I luv hiym).
That Gollum was the bomb.com. I mean talk about badassery to the maximum. He really brought it home, and I can't even begin to explain how ecstatic I was when I realized that they didn't make him a moron. He was actually really effin smart! I loved the hole Jewish destiny thing ( don't know how else to say it). I absolutely love how the writers integrate so many different cultures into the plot-lines of the show.
Their home was all I thought it would be and more and it's gonna be here for a while so I am excited. I have to say ever since they made up I have started to enjoy season Gr8 a lot more.
The "gay thing" was hilarious because when he was hitting on him it was like Dean was uncomfortable and embarrassed and flattered all at the same time like, "I really misread that". Then when he found out that the guy wasn't into him he was kinda disappointed cause he thought he was a catch. It was adorable if I may have a girly moment here.
I love the fact that just after Aaron calls them psychopaths, Sam decides to warm his hands over the flames of the corpse they are burning. It was so priceless I had to take a second to myself.
I'm glad that things are starting to look up for the boys in terms of their foundation. They have a new home base, they are making new friends to help them, they have established a strong bond with each other again, and not to mention that that home base houses buckets of useful information that (I hate and I mean hate to say it) not even Bobby had. Toward the end of last season they were starting to lose everything and then Sam did lose everything and I'm glad to see them start building it all back.
I'm excited for next week's episode 1) because Sam and Dean are wearing glasses, hipster glasses to be exact and 2) because Dean is finally getting some as far as I can tell. It's been so long even I'm gettin withdrawal.
There is one taxing issue on this whole "close the gates of hell" thing:Adam is still in hell.
Well you guys have a great rest of whatever and be sure to give me feedback and post your comments. But try to post them on the blog instead of the Google plus if you can because there are some places that I can't check my Google plus from I really wanna know what you think about the episode.

My Character of Right Now
Name: Garth Fitzgerald IV
Species: Human
Occupation: Hunter
Age: approx. 25-31
Affiliation: Bobby(before his death), Winchester brothers
Strengths: Being awesome and adorable, Getting knocked out during a final battle and missing everything
Weaknesses: Alcohol, Getting knocked out during a final battle and missing everything
First Appearance: Season 7, Time For a Wedding
Personality:
Garth is a quirky, laid back hunter who for the most part is a loner. He is seen to be confident in his work no matter how others feel about it. He has a liking for old beat up looking cars driving a Ford Ranchero where he keep shovels for digging up graves and putting spirits to rest. In the event that he gets the best of someone-whether it is a creature or Sam and Dean- he says that they have been "Garth'd". He has a very low tolerance for alcohol, becoming intoxicated after just one beer. He loves giving hugs and has been described by Dean as someone who "grows on you". He has now become one of the people that the boys really trust. Since Bobby's death, he has taken his role as the hunter informant since Dean and Sam were not available to do the job. He uses unusual techniques such as a sock puppet named "Mr. Fizzles" to help when talking to traumatized children during investigations. He is friendly and sometimes a bit childish, but is also very lovable. He has semi-eclectic taste in music, but mostly prefers 80s and 90s hip hop, using songs from those eras as ringtones for his many phones and blasting Bel Biv Devo in his car. Party on, Garth!
Tonight's Episode
I am really excited about tonight's episode because if you guys didn't see the sneak preview, the boys finally get a place that they can call home-or at least home base. I also read more about it in an interview with Bob Singer that they will be keeping that base for a while or at least I think the rest of the season. It is the bunker that the Men of Letters abandoned all those years ago. So those are my hopes and dreams to come. I down below I have posted the link to the interview where I got my info. Hopefully there will be more Sam/Dean brotherly moments. They are starting to be like they use to be which I think is awesome.
